The Argonauts were led by Dillon Janocha, who had five goals, and Nick Zannitto who added three. Argonauts goalie Jared Gwynn was credited with 15 saves to anchor the defense. Janocha scored the Argonauts’ first two goals to give Garden Grove a 2-0 lead, just two-and-a-half minutes into the match.<\/p>\n

Zannitto, Kyle Deagan and Josh Bravo would each add goals to push the Garden Grove lead to 5-0. Rancho held briefly at that point, cutting the lead to 5-2 early in the second quarter. Jorge Lopez scored for the Vaqueros at the 4:53 mark of the second quarter to cut the lead to 5-2. Lopez led the Vaqueros with two goals.<\/p>\n
