The dedication took place in the Main Street parking lot, between the former Globe restaurant and daKuppe Lounge.<\/p>\n

Pecor moved to Garden Grove in the 1940s, opened a furniture store on Garden Grove Boulevard, and later bought properties on Euclid Street, later to be known as Main Street. In the 1960s, when Euclid Street was re-routed and the city suggested changing the street name to “Old Euclid,” he successfully rallied to have the name changed to “Main Street” instead.<\/p>\n
