The Argonauts went into the playoffs as the third place team out of the Garden Grove League and hosted the wild card game against the Warriors. <\/p>\n

In other baseball action, the Rancho Alamitos High baseball team jumped out to a 3-0 lead but could not hold it, as it fell to La Salle High, 8-3, in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 3 playoffs last week at Rancho Alamitos.<\/p>\n

Blake Culbert had a double and two RBI for the Vaqueros. Jesse Candelario, Sammy Osuna and Shane Zielinski all had hits and scored a run.
