\n\tThey have tips on how to can, freeze, dry and preserve any fruit or vegetable at home and even how to make a pumpkin pie with fresh pumpkins.<\/p>\n

\n\tEating fresh vegetables is healthier and offers no additives or chemicals and a much better taste.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe company offers illustrated recipes and canning directions for even the novice to use, offered from major university extension services, which includes instructions when possible in different types of cooking equipment and choices of sweeteners such as honey, Stevia, Splenda, fruit juice and sugar.<\/p>\n

\n\tThere’s free parking and admission. Tickets for rides and the petting zoo are $1 per ticket or $20 for 22 tickets and $40 for 44 tickets.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Pumpkin Patch is open Monday through Thursday: from noon to 9 p.m., Friday from noon to 10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from10 a.m. to 9 p.m. It closes Halloween night, Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n
