\n\t <\/span>Winners of four contests recently held at the 55th annual Garden Grove Strawberry Festival received trophies and thunderous applause at the Garden Grove amphitheater.   <\/span><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tTrophies were presented by Miss Outstanding Teen Karina Valdez, Miss Garden Grove Missy Mendoza and others in her court.  <\/span>Trophies were awarded in multiple categories for each contest.  <\/span><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tTiny Tots King and Queen Contest: Josiah Harris was crowned Tiny Tots King and rode in the festival parade float alongside Trinity Lee who was crowned Tiny Tots Queen photographed with Mendoza. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tBerry, Berry Beautiful Baby Contest: Asher Lindstrom swept the judges away as grand prize winner of the Berry, Berry, Beautiful Baby Contest.  <\/span><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tRedhead Roundup Contest:  <\/span>The Redhead Roundup Contest is the oldest of the festival contests with the first held in 1958. This year’s Best Redhead Sweepstakes winner was Rachel Reed.  <\/span>She received the award from Mendoza.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tStrawberry Idol Karaoke Contest: The grand prize winner was Tiffany Nutter. The second place winner was Deirdre Harp and the person taking third place was Marissa Macias. The award was presented by Festival Board President Mark Mahoney. <\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tThe four contests are held annually as part of the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival.  <\/span>Contestants register an hour or more before the contests begin and winners are chosen by a panel festival board members and local citizens.  <\/span>Each winner received a trophy. <\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
