\n\t <\/span>The Stanton Illumination Foundation will celebrate and support its local children this summer at the “Illumination Foundation Carnival for Kids” set for Saturday, Aug. 17, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.,  <\/span>at Esther Walter School, 10802 Rustic Lane, in Anaheim.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tThere will be music and activities for children from Radio Disney, fun rides, good food, live entertainment and more, as the Illumination Foundation kicks off the upcoming school year.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tThe foundation is seeking the community's help with sponsorships and\/or donors.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tAll gifts and donations are tax deductible. The foundation is a 501(c)3 –  <\/span>tax ID 71-1047686.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tThe mission of the foundation is to bridge the gap in existing services for the most underserved and to help break and prevent the cycle of homelessness.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tThe foundation’s public\/private partnership combines housing and social services with healthcare and behavioral mental health services to reduce the impact of homelessness and to reduce people's vulnerability to future homelessness.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tThe foundation offers a low-entry threshold to advanced health and housing stability for the most vulnerable in the community, with a focus on families with children.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tThey work to empower adults with tools to become self-sufficient and to inspire children to grow up to be independent and productive adults.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tThe interim housing program bridges the gap between emergency shelters and permanent housing, so as to provide stable housing and comprehensive services to underserved homeless families with children – serving 271 families to date, made up of 572 children and 400 adults.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tAlso, the Interim Supportive Shelter provides homeless families from the Orange County cold weather armories with housing in motel rooms and on-site services to effectively transition those being served by the program into permanent housing.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tOther programs they provide include permanent supportive housing, recuperative care, medical outreach and they also provide motel families with in-home case management.<\/font><\/p>\n
