\n\tPut another way: there’s a new sheriff in town.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tThe Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce has announced its new President-CEO, David B. Ahern .  <\/span>Ahern replaces outgoing President Jeremy Harris.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tAhern has had an extensive career in the business community and local government.  <\/span>He has worked directly with various chambers, boards of Realtors, elected officials, major businesses and neighborhood business districts.   <\/span><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tAhern has worked directly with community groups, non-profit organizations,  <\/span>planning events and dealing with community issues.  <\/span>He has served on non-profit board of directors and as a police commissioner.  <\/span><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

\n\tHe started with the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce on Monday, Aug. 5. Ahern brings to the job a wealth of knowledge and skills upon which to further fortify and grow the chamber.<\/font><\/p>\n

\n\t“My initial goal is to continue the rich history of success this organization has had,” Ahern said.  <\/span>“I'll work closely with chamber membership to learn about their needs and goals and that will inform strategy on a going forward basis.”<\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
