\n\t <\/span>The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival Association is accepting requests for grants and donations from non-profit organizations that serve the citizens of Garden Grove. <\/span><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \n\t <\/span>The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival Association is accepting requests for grants and donations from non-profit organizations that serve the citizens of Garden Grove. <\/span><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n \n\tLetters requesting funds must be postmarked no later than Dec. 1, 2014 to be considered for calendar year 2013 donations. <\/span><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n \n\tA total of $100,000 will be donated. <\/span>All letters must be submitted on the non-profit organization’s letterhead and include the non-profit identification number, amount of the request and the purpose for funding. <\/span><\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n \n\tDonations are limited to capital improvements and capital equipment or durable goods. Funds are not given to organizations which award charitable cash grants. <\/span>Other selection criteria considered include organizations which: <\/font><\/p>\n \n\t• Put majority of their time and finances toward the betterment of the community <\/font><\/p>\n \n\t• Have sound track record of fiscal responsibility, or for new groups, plan to achieve financial soundness<\/font><\/p>\n \n\t• Demonstrate stability and consistency in attaining goals and fulfilling its purpose<\/font><\/p>\n \n\t• Demonstrate a specific need<\/font><\/p>\n \n\t• Provide services regardless of race, creed, gender or age<\/font><\/p>\n \n\tRequests must be mailed to the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival Association (Attention: Donations Committee), P.O.
