\n\tThe city of Garden Grove’s Tiny Tots and Kare Bears programs offer a convenient alternative to private daycare for pre-schoolers. <\/p>\n

\n\tOpenings still exist for these programs that give children, between the ages of 3 and 5, an early start kindergarten by teaching them learning and socialization skills that promote personal growth and development. <\/p>\n

\n\tActivities combine stories, games, crafts and playtime that help to build a sense of self-worth, confidence and respect through a safe and positive experience.  Each session also includes a parent participation excursion to a local place of interest.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Tiny Tots program consists of 41 sessions, running through Dec. 17. Classes are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at Edgar Park and West Haven Park.  Children must be toilet-trained and be 4 years old by Sept. 1, 2014.  The cost for 41 sessions is $435.<\/p>\n

\n\tKare Bears is held two days a week, Tuesday and Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., through Dec. 16, at Edgar Park and West Haven Park.  Children must be toilet-trained and 3 years old by Sept. 1, 2014.  The cost for the 26-sessions is $280. <\/p>\n
