Garden Grove police officers recently responded to Morningside Elementary School, in the 10500 block of Morningside Drive, regarding a male adult victim who alleged that three male Hispanic suspects had robbed him at gunpoint and taken some of his personal property.
Garden Grove police officers recently responded to Morningside Elementary School, in the 10500 block of Morningside Drive, regarding a male adult victim who alleged that three male Hispanic suspects had robbed him at gunpoint and taken some of his personal property.
While officers were responding, three male Hispanic subjects matching the suspects' description were located a short distance from the school. The subjects were detained and found to be in possession of a replica handgun as well as property belonging to the victim. The subjects were arrested and subsequently admitted to several other recently reported robberies in the area.
All three suspects were later housed at the Orange County Juvenile Hall.
The investigation is ongoing. Detectives believe there may be additional victims in the area, who out of fear did have not come forward.
Detectives are asking anyone who may have been the victim of a robbery in the area of Brookhust Street and Westminster Avenue over the past four to six weeks to contact the GGPD Robbery Detail at 714-741-5840.
