Businesses urged to support grads

The City of Garden Grove invites businesses and local organizations to participate in the fifth annual Garden Grove College Graduates’ Reception by becoming a key sponsor.

The private reception is hosted by Garden Grove Mayor Steve Jones and the Garden Grove City Council, and takes place on May 9 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the Garden Grove Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave.

By sponsoring the Garden Grove College Graduates’ Reception, businesses and organizations not only increase their exposure and enhance their customer base, they also help support higher education and professional workforce in the community.

Sponsors can choose from four sponsorship levels, including an Associate’s Sponsorship of $100+; Bachelor’s Sponsorship of $200+; Master’s Sponsorship of $500+; and Title Sponsor of $1,000+. In-kind donations are welcomed.

Benefits include an invitation to attend the Graduates’ Reception Awards Ceremony and business name and logo displayed on the invitation and program, as well as city marketing materials, website, and social media sites.
