Coastline Community College’s Transfer Center held California State University application workshops onsite on July 9 and July 10 at Coastline’s Garden Grove Center.
The event was hosted for students planning to transfer to a CSU in the spring of 2016 and provided an opportunity for them to get a head start on their fall 2016 CSU applications. Coastline’s Transfer Center Workshop, “How to Successfully Complete the CSU Application,” offered students step-by-step information on how to complete each page of their college applications, from essays to resumes.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for students to receive the important information they need to complete CSU applications successfully,” said Nhadira Brathwaite Johnson, Coastline director of marketing and public relations. “Coastline is proud to provide resources that students can use in order to excel in their academic careers.”
There were three onsite workshops taking place at Coastline’s Garden Grove Center.
An online workshop was also offered on July 14, July 15 and July 16.
To attend an online workshop, students had to email transfercenter@coastline.edu to receive instructions on accessing the web address and pass code.
Students who attend the CSU workshops will be able to fill out CSU applications quickly, accurately, and early to ensure the best chance of admission.
