Coastline Community College, with campuses in Garden Grove and Westminster, participated in a Military Advanced Education research study, providing an invaluable contribution to the school's 2015 MAE Guide.

Coastline’s participation has helped make its guide the most comprehensive research tool for service members, education services officers and transition officers.

A record number of schools responded to MAE’s extensive survey and underwent the strict research criteria during the review process. In their upcoming December issue of MAE. The Guide to Colleges & Universities uses an easy-to-read graphic presentation in the form of bar charts, which will enable readers to compare and contrast schools in order to find the best match for their education needs. Schools were evaluated by their achievement in military culture, financial aid, flexibility, on-campus support and online support services.

MAE will be publishing Coastline’s submitted essay and information in the MAE online database. The database is used as a resource for prospective students considering an academic institution.

As the first publication to provide a list that evaluates best practices in military education, MAE has been improving the process every year in order to provide men and women in uniform with information that will help them make the right choices about college.
