At the event, the kids were treated to photos with The MLS Cup III and an opportunity to meet Cozmo the LA Galaxy mascot as well as Elmo the Elks mascot. The Garden grove Elks provided soft drinks, hot dogs and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the guest kids and parents.

The second part of the program was the Elks Hoop Shoot contest for boys and girls ages 8-13. At both events a drug awareness clinic was made available by the Lodge members for those kids and parents interested.

A round of appreciation was given to organizer Keith Mitchell, who is an officer of the Garden Grove Elks.
