The Garden Grove Elks installed their new line-up of officers for their 2013-2014 year. The ceremony, which was open to the public, was well attended, with few seats remaining in the lodge.
The Garden Grove Elks installed their new line-up of officers for their 2013-2014 year. The ceremony, which was open to the public, was well attended, with few seats remaining in the lodge.
Master of Ceremonies Edward Shozda, a past district deputy Grand Exalted Ruler, presided over the installation and administered the oaths of office. Installed in the higher offices were: Bill O’Hearn as the Exalted Ruler; Randy Eldridge as the Leading Knight; Joe De La Luz as the Loyal Knight; and Karen Lewin as the Lecturing Knight; these are known as the chair officers.
Jim Faulkner was installed as secretary, Eileen Rasmussen as treasurer and Larry Hudson as tiler. All of the proceeding are elected offices.
Appointees were also installed as well as the Board of Trustees who include: Chuck O’Dey, Jim Anderson, John Zahn, Paul Pantages and Gary Westmyer.
