 Garden Grove Day Camp is getting ready for the kids.

The camp provides children, ages 5-12, with a fun, safe, and affordable 10-week summer program, beginning June 24. Camp hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, and take place at the Courtyard Center at Village Green Park, at 12732 Main St.

The cost is $90 per week and includes a free T-shirt, snacks, refreshments, Friday lunch and participation in creative activities and games. Optional weekly excursions require specially priced entrance fees in addition to the $90 weekly fee. Transportation is included.

A partial listing of the day camp excursions and fees follows:

Week of June 24: Beach trip for $5; week of July 1: bowling and movie for $17; week of July 8: Magic Mountain for $34; week of July 15: Knott’s Berry Farm for $28; week of July 22: Angels game for $19; week of July 29: Soak City for $25; week of Aug. 5: Universal Studios for $50; week of Aug. 12: Raging Waters for $31; week of Aug. 19: Boomers for $24; week of Aug. 26: a beach trip for $5.
