Assemblyman Travis Allen (R-Huntington Beach) was honored by the Apartment Association of Orange County (AAOC) with its Legislator of the Year Award.
The award recognizes the Assemblyman’s commitment to the community's apartment industry and advancing opportunities in the housing market for California’s residents.
“The Apartment Association of Orange County is an organization that is committed to working closely with policy makers to promote common sense solutions for our Orange County residents and housing providers,” said Allen. “They serve to remind policymakers of their vital role in providing homes to the state’s residents and fight to empower our local communities’ voice in Sacramento. I am honored to receive this award and look forward to continuing a constructive partnership with the AAOC.”
“Assemblyman Allen was raised in a business development and real estate oriented family. As a consequence, he understands, articulates and embraces rental property owners and managers public policy positions pending before the Legislature. Also, he has proven to be an excellent strategist. For these reasons we unanimously agreed to honor Mr. Allen as the 2015 Legislator of the Year Award for the Apartment Association of Orange County,” said Ron Kingston, Apartment Association of Orange County.
