By TONY CHEONG: I went. I saw. I left.

That's what I've got to say about my first visit to one of the many, many bikini coffee shops in Orange County.

There are already a bunch of them in Garden Grove and Westminster.

Two weeks ago, the first one opened in Stanton. It's called GZ Cafe.

If you're interested, go to 7433 Cerritos Ave. It's open from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. every day.

If you've read my previous columns, you know how I feel about bikini coffee shops, bikini bars and bikini barbershops. You also know that I'm a firmly in the anti-thong camp. I've said it before and I'll say it again: dental floss is meant for your teeth, not your tush.

So… take my predisposition into consideration as you proceed.

Some impressions:

— The scantily-clad women — mostly Vietnamese-Americans — are young, attractive and preen a lot.They also bend over for certain legitimate reasons as they do their work, and I use "legitimate" in the loosest way;

— They are cheery and chatty, like over-eager cheerleaders, and that just makes them more sad and desperate to me, because, well, unlike cheerleaders, they're practically naked. If you patronize GZ Cafe, you will see thongs and even garters;

— They're enthusiastic when serving the mostly male cleintele. Women patrons? Not so much;

— The place looks very clean, which surprised me, and serves Vietnamese coffees and teas. GZ Cafe, though, is known for delicious smoothies. I didn't drink my smoothie served by a beautiful gal, though. I mean, how does the county Healthy Agency allow naked women to serve food and beverages? One word: ICK. My buddy didn't think the same way. He drank his smoothie and said it was fresh and tasty;

— GZ Cafe, which previously operated in Garden Grove, has a loyal group of patrons. They swear by the place. Go to YELP! and try to find a negative comment. You'll be scrolling down for awhile. Here's an example of a typical take: "When you  mix beautiful girls and delicious smoothies it equals a great time" — Randy T. of Garden Grove.

–The smattering of men were, uh, how can I be polite? I mean, they were pleasant but those eyes darting all over the place. And WIDE. They looked like wall-eyed fish;

— To its credit, the establishment appears to be following the city's strict regulations. I didn't witness any smoking, groping or gambling.

Speaking of establishments, I always like to give a shout-out to new businesses opening in our area.

So a shout-out to Pam's Place (it opened earlier this year), which serves hearty portions of delicious breakfasts and lunches at 13085 Springdale St. in Westminster. I recommend the two eggs and turkey sausage meal with fruit and a granola pancakes. Yum!

For more information about Pam's, call 714-248-9446.
