The City of Stanton invited all members of the community to join family and friends for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony celebrating "Holidays Around the World" on Dec. 4 at the Stanton Civic Center (7800 Katella Avenue).
The event was attended by more than 500 people and featured a musical performance by the Rancho Alamitos High School Choir, the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, visits with Santa, refreshments, storybook reading, arts and crafts, displays, a harpist and a non-profit food booth.
