For its 60-year anniversary, the City of Stanton has instigated honoring a business each month through 2016.

CR&R Waste and Recycling Services was honored as the first business for the month of January. The business was honored last week at the Stanton City Council meeting as "One of Southern California's most innovative and successful companies, serving more than 2.5 million people and 5,000 businesses — having developed some of the most inventive and forward-looking technologies and services in the industry."
