Two local representatives are gearing up to sit in new seats in 2015.
Young Kim, a Republican who unseated Democrat Sharon Quirk-Silva on Election Day, will take the reins as the Assemblywoman for the 65th District. Janet Nguyen, who is currently an Orange County Supervisor, will leave that post for bigger things. Nguyen, also a Republican, will take office as the State Senator for District 34.

One looming question is: Who will replace Nguyen on the Orange County Board of Supervisors? Some are saying Garden Grove City Councilman Chris Phan has his eye on the seat, but we haven't confirmed that with Phan.
