The Pumpkin Patch Pumpkin Factory is an incredible sight to see – all decked out in Halloween attire – with a huge assortment of pumpkins in varying sizes and colors.

Visit the Pumpkin Factory at 1025 Westminster Mall, in Westminster, for your Halloween pumpkin needs and to see the mall’s large selection of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes to take home and carve with your family members.

There are carnival games, rides, slides and ponies for the children; face painting and a petting zoo too, along with food.

Also, there’s a bounce house for energetic children to work off their energy while visiting the fun pumpkin patch.

The pumpkins are all grown on a family farm and are part of the Pumpkin Factory LLC franchise of Orange County pumpkin patches – with pumpkins that are already picked from the field and brought to the Westminster Mall.

Birthday parties and school tours can be arranged.

They have tips on how to can, freeze, dry and preserve any fruit or vegetable at home and even how to make a pumpkin pie with fresh pumpkins.

Eating fresh vegetables is healthier and offers no additives or chemicals and a much better taste.

The company offers illustrated recipes and canning directions for even the novice to use, offered from major university extension services, which includes instructions when possible in different types of cooking equipment and choices of sweeteners such as honey, Stevia, Splenda, fruit juice and sugar.

There’s free parking and admission. Tickets for rides and the petting zoo are $1 per ticket or $20 for 22 tickets and $40 for 44 tickets.

The Pumpkin Patch is open Monday through Thursday: from noon to 9 p.m., Friday from noon to 10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from10 a.m. to 9 p.m. It closes Halloween night, Wednesday, Oct. 31, at 8 p.m.

The venue provides families with fun-filled hours together as they experience the wonder of an actual pumpkin patch.
