Last week, the radio station KFI held a cash mob at Zlaket’s Market, an 85-year-old family business on Historic Main Street in Garden Grove. The cash mob was a great success: dozens of customers flocked to the market and purchased about $7,000 of foods, beverages and other stuff. But alas, small businesses – and big ones, too – increasingly are forced to deal with lawsuits brought on by this or that plaintiff. In this case, a disabled man is suing Zlaket’s for $4,000 for not providing wheelchair access at another one of Zlaket’s businesses down the street.
