BY LOREEN BERLIN: Boy Scouts of America leaders in the El Capitan Scouting District were honored recently at the Clarion Hotel in Garden Grove during a “Spirit of Scouting” dinner; the event honored individuals for their guidance and governance with young people in the Scouting program.
“The annual awards dinner of the El Capitan Scouting District is to recognize the leaders, parents and volunteers who have devoted their time throughout the year to the Boy Scouts,” said El Capitan Chairperson Frances Nguyen. “Through our participation, we’re helping build the next generation of Scouts to be good citizens, who will be faithful to their faith and patriotic to their country. Scouting builds family values, while promoting each others’ ethic cultural differences and values.”
